"Oh very funny." Malfoy snarled, not bothering to look down at his now happily tap-dancing feet. It took him a moment to actually aim his wand at his moving legs, buts as soon as he thought he'd gotten it right, he ended the spell just like how the girl had ended hers. He raised his wand again, ready to retaliate with a spell, but saw that the others that they'd been sent with were backing up and turning around as if nothing had happened. Scorpius turned his head to look over his shoulder and slipped his wand back into the sleeve of his shirt in perfect timing. A teacher put their hand between his shoulders, moving him along and doing the same to Finnigan, muttering on and on about how they should have gone to the hospital wing as quickly as possible, the possibilities of whatever was on them could have been deadly. Scorpius doubted this, as he felt no affects besides being pink.
In the teacher's ramblings, Malfoy's silver eyes glanced to the side and down to look at the Finnigan girl. He had to take notice on how she didn't look half bad, and the speckles of pink on her face and in her hair were somewhat cute. ....-Oh god! Never again- Never, ever for never ever again would he think that! The boy slapped the heel of his palm to his forehead in disgust, his eyes turning away from Tabby as he gave a soft snort, as if laughing at his thoughts. Bloody hell, maybe he was sicker than he appeared! He opened his eyes when the teacher finally stopped talking.
"There we are dears, now go on and get yourselves fixed up," the professor nodded and walked along the corridor, disappearing as she turned the corner. Scorpius wasted no more time and stepped up behind the other kids that had been splattered with Tabby's cauldron goop, waiting with his hands in the pockets of his robes.
((Lol, okay so I thought of a small idea for later on that could possibly get them to kiss after XD. Say they're alone (maybe it's during X-mas and neither of them go home) and they start to fight, then Malfoy uses the Engorgio spell on her chest, and then she retaliates with using it on.... well below his belt area XD and after they're done fixing things they're all "....-*kiss*" XD Idk, it was something to think about in my dream last night, made me laugh XD))

Tabby put her wand away a bit more slowly, though the teacher didn't seem to notice, and rejoined the pack as they were ushered on to the hospital wing. She only rolled her eyes at the professor's muttering. As she was supposed to be making a potion to cure boils when she'd decided to put an ingredient whole instead of chopped like the potions book said and created her magenta mess, she doubted that it would do any such thing. And as none of them were covered in boils yet, she suspected its only effect was the pinkish color. She glanced over as she caught motion out of the corner of her eye, turning in time to see Malfoy smack him self on the forehead in a classic facepalm. The Finnigan girl raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything, not wanting to set him off again when there was a faculty member right there. Oh well. There would be plenty more insults for another time.
"What's this? Pink, the lot of you?" the nurse said when the group entered the hospital wing. "Don't think I don't know this was your doing, Miss Finnigan!" she snapped a moment later, ruining Tabby's attempt to slouch and hide behind a Gryffindor boy.
"You have no proof!" the girl protested.
"As if your many previous visits aren't proof enough!" the woman replied before walking back towards her office, tutting and muttering under her breath. A few moments later she returned with a large bottle containing a clear syrupy liquid. "Alright, everyone gets a spoonful of this, just one, and the pink spots should fade in a few days," she said.
"A few days?!" one girl asked. "Would taking more make it faster?"
"It might," the nurse replied, "but it'd also take all the color out of your skin and hair." The girl was silent. The nurse began doling out the potion, and Tabby got in line with the others to receive her spoonful, grinning from ear to ear.

--timeskip (of doom)--
"Ugh," the boy groaned, his arms around his head, forehead against the table in the dining hall. "Unbelievable." Scorpius muttered to the Slytherins sitting beside and across the table from him. "How does one bloody little girl end up screwing up such a simple potion?!" He barked, the people around him chiming in with comments and such. He still couldn't get over his his bangs were stained magenta, while the color in his robes had already faded somewhat. There were still little speckles here and there on his face, however.
Malfoy turned his head, glaring absolute daggers at the Gryffindor table, his silver eyes enough to slice through steel. Stupid Finnigan! That little... little....- Ou he couldn't even think of a name to call her he was so over the top angry at the girl! "A few days," the woman had said- ha! As if he could stand this for even another hour!
As soon as Scorpius had returned to the Slytherin common room he'd stepped into the dorm room he'd shared with the other boys and had written a letter to his father. He was now waiting for the mail to arrive with the falcon his mother and father had bought him for his first year at Hogwarts.

The girl who seemed to be the talk of the Slytherin table sat just a few yards away with her fellow Gryffindors, oblivious to the hatred radiating in her direction. Tabby smiled and chatted with her friends, dropping out of the conversation every five minutes or so to spend time eating her dinner, which she really didn't feel like abandoning tonight. On one of these pauses she had finished chewing for the moment and glanced around the Great Hall, only to find Scorpius Malfoy glaring back at her. Her response was to smile sweetly, kiss her hand, and blow it in his direction. Pissing off Malfoy was perhaps the best part of this whole magenta business. No boy would be fond of having pink splattered across his hair and face, of course, unless he was gay. However, the blond boy's anger was definitely more satisfying than that of any of the other boy's who'd been hit when her potion exploded. The others had actually been rather good-tempered about it compared to Scorpius. A couple of the girls actually liked the pink in their hair, and the boys, while grumpy, were at least dealing with it. And if they weren't, well, Tabby didn't notice and didn't care to.

Scorpius gave a hiss of annoyance through clenched teeth, only looking up when he heard a high pitched screech in the air, watching the familiar falcon swoop into the great hall and land on the table. Malfoy untied the letter from around the bird of preys leg and then proceeded to stroke the top of it's beak with the back of his hand while he read the letter. So it seemed his father was just as disapproving of the matter like Scorpius was. How fun~.
The Slytherin pulled a quill from out of one of the pockets inside his robe and flipped the paper over, scribbling in his neat, tiny handwriting. A few moments passed, a few of his Slytherin friends attempting to prod the boy to tell the what he was writing back and whom had sent the letter to begin with. He merely replied with a quick, "Nothing," for the first question, and a simple, "My father," for the second. A few more minutes passed and he folded and tied the letter back to the birds leg and let it fly off, watching as he sped through one of the open windows. Malfoy's silver eyes turned to look over his shoulder at the Finnigan girl, whom he promptly smirked at before turning back to the table, picking up his cup and sipping some of his pumpkin juice.

--timeskip (of cuteness)--
Despite being magenta-tinged, Tabby was still on her usual schedule, which meant that eleven p.m. found her wandering the halls rather than warm and cozy in bed like most of her classmates. The Gryffindor walked down a deserted corridor lined with various portraits and paintings, most of which were snoring softly, or, in the case of one rather fat man in a powdered wig, quite loudly. Tabby didn't mind. She would rather have snoring all around her than walk through the corridors in silence, her own silent footsteps echoing back to her. She hadn't bothered with a disillusionment charm tonight, though whether it was because she was feeling particularly daring or because she was just too lazy to bother casting the charm was debatable. If she heard any teachers coming she would either cast the charm or step into one of the many alcoves that lined the walls and disappear into the shadows. She'd been doing this long enough to know how to hide whenever she needed to. That is, when she was paying attention.

Okay, so Malfoy had been much too busy pouting and being pissy about the magenta all over his bangs and face to really feel like eating at dinner time. That's why the boy had found himself walking through the corridors towards the kitchens (much like the night before) for another very late dinner. Well that... and he hadn't been hungry then, either, so either way he would have been down there. The Slytherin kept walking quietly when he spied Tabby not too far ahead of him (assuming she must have taken a different path, as they were coming from different directions). "Finnigan! You're bloody done for!" Scorpius hissed loudly, tossing the disillusionment charm off of himself with a flick of his wand before holding it out to the girl. His silver eyes shone fiercely in the dim lighting as he glared at the girl not too far in front of him.

Tabby turned at the sound of her name, grinning when she saw Malfoy standing there. She held her wand at her side, not on the offensive but still ready to fend off anything he should throw her way. She walked back towards the Slytherin, approaching until they were about the appropriate distance apart for a conversation. She put on an overly dramatic look of hurt, as if he'd deeply wounded her feelings.
"Do we have to fight like this, Scorpius? Can't we just be friends?" she asked. However reconciliatory the words may have sounded, their purpose was the exact opposite. She acted--badly--as though she wanted to make nice with Scorpius only because she knew it would serve to infuriate him further. She could never be friends with the Malfoy boy. It was just too much fun fighting with him. That was why she could never date him, either. Wait, what? Who said anything about dating? We were talking about just non-hating here. No need to go that far. Where the heck did those thoughts come from. Tabby shook her head to clear it of the strange train of thought and turned her attention back to Malfoy. That is, until she heard rapid footsteps coming in their direction. It had to be a teacher, and even if it wasn't, they couldn't take any chances.
"Bugger," she muttered, looking around for a place to hide and spotting an empty alcove off to the right. "Come on," she whispered to Malfoy, dragging him into the slight indent in the wall after her. The alcove was just large enough and just deeply shadowed enough to hide the two of them if they stood close. With no time to work a disillusionment charm and the teacher rounding the corner, it would have to do.

Malfoy was quickly going to protest the girl moving him along, but was distracted by the sound of feet pacing towards them as well. While she shoved at him he began to lay a disillusionment charm on himself, waving his wand above the girl as well, just to make sure. He was sure that if she got in trouble she'd bring him into it as well, and he didn't approve of such a thought. Scorpius, in his attempt to turn back around while being shoved, tripped over his own feet right as they pressed into the alcove and quickly caught himself on the nearest item. The Finnigan girl. The boy's silver eyes jolted open at the warmth pressed against his mouth and immediately looked down, only to find Tabby's face mushed up against his own, their lips together. Malfoy's body froze, not only to the touch, but because the teacher's footsteps became louder, stopped for what seemed like the longest moment in the entire world, and then hurried back off, growing quieter and quieter before disappearing.
Scorpius held his long arms out and straightened his back, putting the back of his left against against his mouth and merely staring with his wide silver eyes, down at the girl. He was speechless.

All Tabby knew was one moment she was watching he hallway, anxiously waiting for the professor to pass, and the next she was staring into the wide silver eyes of Scorpius Malfoy, his lips against hers. Her own eyes widened out of shock, but she didn't say anything or move until the footsteps had disappeared, not wanting to give them away. When finally he pulled away she felt relieved but also the tiniest bit...disappointed? Oh God. She'd just kissed Scorpius Malfoy and...and LIKED it? What the hell was wrong with her brain? Surely there were many who wanted to know, but Tabby didn't have the answer.
"Bloody hell," she muttered, looking down at...okay, nevermind, looking UP into the boy's startled face. She didn't really know what to say. There was nothing more to say besides the terribly obvious "that was awkward," and she refused to sink to that level of cliche. The teacher was gone, but they were still standing in the alcove. He was still so close, too close for the Gryffindor's already scrambled brain. She pushed past him and left the shadowed area, sitting down on the floor against the corridor wall. "This is too bloody weird," she said softly, more to herself than to Malfoy.
