positive characteristics • Sasha's a really upbeat person who isn't afraid to speak his mind. He'll tell it as it is and often with a fabulous flourish. He believes that there HAS to be good in everyone, whether they show it or not. No matter how people treat him, he tries not to let it get him down (though this isn't always exactly a simple matter). When he loves, he loves with all his heart (for the most part).

negative characteristics • When he's REALLY mad at someone, he'll tend to mess with their mind, sometimes try to manipulate them into doing what he wants them to, even if they don't always realize they're being manipulated. He holds grudges really well and will often over look his true feelings if he's mad enough at someone. He doesn't really know how to defend himself. He believes in brutal honesty at almost all costs, though this often gets him in trouble with his peers. Also, he's a bit of a neat freak. person history • Sasha grew up in America with his muggle parents and moved to London when he was around 9. Like everyone else, he received his letter to Hogwarts and was whisked away. He was entirely enthralled by the castle's medieval appearance and has worked diligently at his studies for the past five years.

He has known since a young age that he was attracted to guys. His parents seem oddly oblivious to this, and he kind of prefers it that way. He doesn't want to deal with any sort of awkward conversations with them. At school, however, it's a bit harder. People know he's different and often don't let him forget it. Though he has a policy of complete honesty most of the time, his sexuality is a harder subject to be open about at school. He has told his close friends and may joke around with them about it, but he is often deathly afraid that, were someone who has something against him to find out for sure, he would never here the end of it. Never stop being tormented. Some already harass him for it -- he doesn't want to put up with more than he has to. He just can't.

Venus was always a restless child. Born the younger twin of Hugo Weasley, she wanted nothing more than to prove that she was her own person, that she could handle herself. This caused her to be a bit troublesome, always getting into situations that, as it turned out, she could not get herself out of. More often than not, her brother would come to her rescue and play the big protector. Usually, this would annoy her to no end. He saved her butt countless times, but she never really seemed to learn her lesson.

When they arrived at hogwarts at the ripe age of 11, she explored the castle in wonder. She did fairly well in her lessons, quickly taking to the use of magic as she'd seen her parents do all her life. Despite this, she still found her self getting her nose where it did not belong. She would often find herself at the wrong place at the wrong time, and never failed to get teased or mocked for it. If it had not been for her brother, she probably never would have gotten through unharmed.

As it turned out, she couldn't really even do that WITH his help.

About halfway through her first year, Venus was rushing down the halls, late to class, when she stumbled upon a scene between some older students. They seemed to be in a bit of a confrontation, wands at the ready. She was standing a few yards behind one of them when the other sent a spell their way. The hex, however, was flawed and mis-aimed, hitting Venus instead. She woke up a few days later in the hospital wing, unable to see anything. not knowing where she was or what was going on, she began to panic. The nurse soon informed her about the hex she'd been mistakenly hit by and that, due to it's flawed casting, the blindness Venus suffered as a result would not be reversible.

She suffered a small depression after that, her brother becoming more protective than ever, but she soon learned to adjust. She wanted her life back and her brother off her case.

She had to re-learn to navigate the school (which sometimes proved difficult, thanks to the tendency of the staircases to shift and move). By the end of her first year, she'd nearly gotten the hang of it, though she wasn't fully adjusted until the end of third year. She tends to use a quick quotes quill to take her notes in class and discovered a spell to translate any writing into braille s she would be able to read it. Once she got the hang of it, she caught back up to her classmates and returned to doing well in class, though she was severely disadvantaged at potions and often had trouble aiming spells (you would, too). The teachers were fairly understanding; she couldn't exactly help that she couldn't see to do certain things. Magic does come in handy for her, though. She's become a master of the summoning charm, in fact, and a whole mess of other spells that make it just the slightest bit easier for her to get along.

Now, in her seventh year, Venus is mourning the thought of graduating and never coming back to Hogwarts. She is thinking about becoming a teacher in the future, but is yet undecided. For now, she's planning to find part time work in her family's joke shops until she can find an actual job.

Nate grew up in a pureblood family with four older sisters. He's a big Momma's Boy and avoids his dad at all costs. He's the heir to the Xavier family. He can be judgmental, but that's mostly because that's how he was taught to be. Now-a-days he keeps his prejudices to himself, but some still remember him in his younger years, walking around like he owned the place and judging everyone who walked by. He was stupid and immature then. Not that he'd admit to this fault.

Long story short, he ended up deaf at the age of 14 from a muggle accident. And his mother ended up dead. His father finds Nate to be a failure of a heir because he can't hear and is very disappointed in the boy. Nate, who used to be like all the other annoying Slytherin prats who think they're better than everyone else, is now more of a quiet and mysterious kid. Student never know what he's thinking anymore. Some are intimated by him, some are intrigued, but most just ignore him. It's too hard to get past the deaf thing to really understand him.

Nate has a strong love for potions. He is very smart (some wonder why he wasn't a Ravenclaw until the remember he has almost no friends to distract him from his studies) and has a future as a Healer. He's very ambitious when it comes to his future career and there is little in the world that can come in between him and this.

He also plays Quidditch as a Seeker. He's good at ignoring everyone else around him (he can't hear them) and looking for the Snitch.

Ivan's nationality has always been a confusing subject. His dad's from Bulgaria and his mom France, but most of his family is Brits. He's spent his life traveling a lot. They've lived in all three countries previously listed, and because of Dad's job, they've also spent some time traveling with the team. He knows English (obviously), French, Bulgarian, along with a handful of words from other languages.

Ivan has an older sister, Emma, who is part veela. As the brother, his job is to scare away her numerous suitors (which is hard to do when you're the younger one). He's very close to his sister. He still remembers when he was 8 and she was 10 and her parents had their first argument, the beginning battle of a year long war, about where to send the kids to school. Their mother was from Beauxbatons and father from Durmstrang. But thanks to the huge Weasley family getting involved (which they were sort of apart of, because of Fleur), they ended up sending their kids to Hogwarts with their cousins.

Ivan wasn't overly brave, and definitely not smart. Just because he was pureblood and had some determination when it came to Quidditch, he was far to blood-traitor-like and not cunning enough for Slytherin. So he ended up in Hufflepuff, the house for people who have no where else to fit in. Ivan became the seeker of Hufflepuff his second year. He's fairly good, as his father's been training him in the sport since before he could walk. It's the only thing he has.

About:

Tabby is probably the craziest girl you'll ever meet, not because of her eccentric ways or bizarre habits, but her sheer hardheadedness. The girl almost never thinks before she speaks or acts, and it seems as if she purposely spits on every custom, tradition, or rule of society. She looks the world in the face and says, "Bite me." This is because Tabby has learned that what people think doesn't really affect you when you don't give a shit. If she ever had any insecurities they're either long gone or buried deep, and it's been a very long time since she apologized for the way she behaves. Tabby hates saying she's sorry more than anything and will only say it (and mean it) to someone she truly cares about.

Tabby's mother, Lavender, often wonders where she went wrong with her daughter. She tried to bring her up to have decent manners, but of course when the girl's always running off to play quidditch or make mud pies with the boys of the Finnigan brood, table manners and fashion tips fall by the wayside. Tabby has always been a bit of a tomboy, something her dad, Seamus, adores. She grew up taking dares and playing pranks with her many cousins, most of them older boys. As a result she can break the noses of any who dare to call her Tabatha more than once or serve up a mean bat-bogey hex for anyone who messes with her friends.

Tabby plays on the Gryffindor quidditch team as a chaser, and while she loves the sport, she doesn't exactly see herself having a career in it. She is actually rather smart, contrary to popular belief, she just isn't the type to spend an afternoon holed up in the library pouring over books. Potions is perhaps her worst subject, but it's mainly because she's too impatient to follow the directions properly most days. Charms and Transfiguration are her best, though she's decent at Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures. Correction, her absolute worst subject is Divination. Why? Because she thinks it's a load of shit, and therefore devotes absolutely no effort to it. Most of Tabby's shortcomings academically come back to a lack of effort. She's smart, she just hates doing homework. While she hasn't thought a whole lot about the future, she could see herself running a pub or a shop of some kind or perhaps working in the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes (she fancies she'd be rather good at feeding muggles BS).

She's horrible at potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts as her mother was, and certain spells, like Patronus and any charming spell she has difficulty with. She's pretty good with transfiguration spells, though. She's also in the choir class.
