FULL NAME: Jordan Simona Portelli (goes by Storm)
DATE OF BIRTH: December 21st, 1992
GENDER: female
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: straight
SPECIAL ABILITY: spontaneous combustion
INFO ON THE SPECIAL ABILITY: Basically, she can make things explode with her mind. The problem is she doesn't have any control over what. The explosions can be big or small, hurtful or helpful, and they can either come in the form of an object exploding or simply a random flash in the air, like fireworks. Storm has tried in the past to control these explosions or direct them in some way, but she's always found that the harder she tries to control it, the less control she actually has. For example, the harder she concentrates on making a chair explode, the more likely it will be her pants instead. Over the years she's learned that all she can do is hope for the best and be prepared to put out the fire.
WHAT SIDE ARE YOU ON: She's not really sure at the moment. She doesn't want to dominate the world for sure, but she doesn't think she can help it either.

HEIGHT: average, if a little on the short side, around 5'5"
WEIGHT: about 125 lbs.
BUILD: athletic, more lean muscle than bulky
HAIR: bleach blonde, long, and wavy
EYES: a stormy grey, though they can look blue in the right light
MORE: She isn't very particular about her style, since she has a very limited wardrobe. Since she was always moving, she could only wear what she brought with her, and since she walks a lot, that can't be much, or it gets annoying real fast. She has a leather jacket which she likes because it's durable and warm. Her outfits are always very plain because that's what she can afford and she doesn't really mind. About the only stylish things she owns are her aviators sunglasses and a necklace in the shape of a cross that her mother gave her, and she has no problem with that. For a long time she only had a few articles of clothing. She recently got a job and a cheap apartment, and she's gotten some more clothes so that she wouldn't always be wearing the same thing to work all the time. She still doesn't care much for style though since she can't spend much money on clothes. She'll stick with jeans and t-shirts.

LIKES: apples, hotdogs, books, trains, Central Park, knives, friendly old ladies, and bars that let underage people in the door, even if they won't let them drink
DISLIKES: cops, drug addicts, anchovies, tourists asking her where things are, social workers, grape soda, "keep of the grass" signs
ANY HOBBIES: do avoiding the cops and looking for safe places to sleep count as hobbies?
PERSONALITY SUMMARY: Storm is very careful. She usually comes across as very wary and guarded. She doesn't want to get too close to anyone because she's afraid that either they'll get hurt or she will. The girl has spent her life moving from one place to another, never letting herself settle in enough to do too much damage. She used to wander all over the country, hopping trains or walking along the tracks, but then she found New York City.

It's not that she loves the city all that much, though she will admit to liking it at least. She just likes the fact that it's so big and people are so unfriendly that she could live there for twenty years and still never know anybody, never make an impression. There are so many homeless that no one even notices her, and that's just the way she likes it. Storm tells herself that she doesn't need anyone else, that it's better if she's all alone, but secretly she wants to be loved like any other human being. She's too afraid that her powers will hurt someone to let herself love or be loved, though. She tends to push people away if they get too close.

Storm is also tough. Living in New York City you almost have to be. She knows how to fight as she doesn't like to rely on her powers for protection since they're so unreliable. She's the type who can handle anything that comes her way, no matter how difficult. She learns to adapt, learns to make a situation work because she has to. When her mother died she was devastated, and she thought she would never get over it, but she's since moved on and while she will never forget her mother, she can at least deal with the pain of missing her.

FULL NAME: Nathaniel "Nate" Oliver Xavier
DATE OF BIRTH: Good question. Every time someone asks him he tells them a different answers. He's been anywhere from 15 to 25. (Real age: 20, September 13th, 1990)
GENDER: Male
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Heterosexual
SPECIAL ABILITY: Empathy
INFO ON THE SPECIAL ABILITY: He can feel other's emotions. To do this, he has to be near the person. Since people are usually feeling more than one thing at one time, it's all mashes together and is very confusing. Eye contact or touching a person makes their emotions more clear. The stronger an emotion, the stronger Nate can feel it. Other's feelings also tend to effect who Nate feels (ex. if someone's really angry, it makes Nate feel suddenly angry). Another thing: Nate may be able to feel what others are feeling, but he won't know why they are feeling such. If they're sad, it could be anything from a failed test or a break up to a death. The best he could do is guess.
WHAT SIDE ARE YOU ON: Nate doesn't care about dominating the world-what's the point in that. But saving it? What have people ever done to him, except put him down? But because of his past (see personality summary), Nate chose to help.

WEIGHT: Around 150
BUILD: Slender. He's kind of strong, but not muscular.
HAIR: Dirty blond that goes down to his eyes.
EYES: Grey-blue
MORE: He usually wears causal clothing. Jeans and a t-shirt and a jacket. However he does have formal attire and even a suit when the opportunity to wear such appears. Appearance never is a big issue in Nate's mind.

LIKES: Mystery, his job, dogs, the cold, subway, Central Park, kids, music (he can feel the vibrations)
DISLIKES: Being ignored, big groups of people, dramatic people, college, cats, cars.
ANY HOBBIES: Playing soccer (goalie). Working part time at a deaf school teaching families ASL (sign language).
PERSONALITY SUMMARY: Nate's deaf. How did this happen? Well, not many know how. When people ask, he usually makes up a new story each time. But the real reason is because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had always wanted to see the World Trade Center, after all the years he'd lived in NYC. He just chose to take a tour the same day the Twin Tours were destroyed. Two days later, he turned 11; it was is first birthday spent in the hospital and his first birthday as a deaf person.

Nate doesn't speak much. He can speak, but after years of being teased in school for having a "funny" voice, he tries to find ways around it. If something is worth being said, he will say it aloud for the Hearing around him to know, but he prefers to sign. Key ASL signs that the other Alphas on the team should know are ones that relate to emotions (anger, nervous, love, guilt, happiness, hatred, content, tired), as that is the most communication he needs to get through to the others. He he goes around, telling the others the bad guy is feeling nervous out loud, where is the point in that?

Mysterious is an understatement when it comes to Nate, and he enjoys it like that. He likes to lie-about his age, how he lost his hearing, etc. He would never lie about something important or Alpha related, but when it comes to the small details about his life, he enjoys confusing people. No one really knows about his history. Because of this, not many trust him. But in a conversation with Nate, after people get past the deaf and the empathy sides of him, Nate's personality comes down to this. He is funny, though a bit sarcastic. He prefers to joke, even though on the outside he appears serious all the time. He is a bit pessimistic, but not so much that it's obnoxious to those around him. He's concerned a lot for other people. Nate does have a personality behind it all, if anyone were ever to dig that deep.

INFO ON THE SPECIAL ABILITY:
Ability to absorb forms of kinetic energy and other mineral things such as iron,metal,ect. into oneself and utilize it in some way, such as by converting it into physical strength or using it to power energy blasts. The strength is limited tho, and when using the power energy blasts take up alot of his energy.((so, if your a nerd, just imagine the older Kevin from Ben10..except Dustin can absorp more than just metal and stuff))

MORE: Dustin has two lip piercings and a few running along his ears, he usually wears jackets or hoodies, or sometimes long-sleeved black shirts,skinny jeans, and when he wants to break the law he usually wears gloves.Dustin also wears very heavy black eye-makeup.he usually wears running shoes so that when he's running from the police they dont catch him

DISLIKES: arrogant people, people who talk on their cell phone really loud, NY bussiness people, he doesnt really like drugs or alcohol but he has gotten mixed up in a few situations where he sold,held and used them

PERSONALITY SUMMARY:
If you couldnt already tell, Dustin isnt the most nicest person in the world. He has a very big ego, and is just like the people he hates. He is bossy and hates being around people. He trys to be secretive and doesnt like share things. He lives in an apartment of one of his 'clients' ... he cusses alot and is really loud and obnoxious.Dustin does have a soft spot though, and sometimes he can be a really nice, likable person...sometimes.

Dustin lives by himself, and always has since he was 12,when his parents were killed in a mod fight.He's always had to fend for himself even with his parents alive though, because they would always be out doing things to defy the law. Dustin used to have a younger brother, but since his parents couldnt afford anything better than a one room apartment in the projects(yes, there) and health care was hard to get, his brother died. That is why Dustin has a soft spot for children..Anyways, after his brother died, he turned cold, blaming himself and his parents for his brothers death.Another reason why Dustin hates people..
